Tacheny Perry

Tacheny Perry’s first story was about a green dinosaur she rode to school. It was published (read hung on the wall outside her classroom) by her first grade teacher. Since then she has earned a MFA from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and has been published in journals, anthologies and blogs. She lives in Nebraska with her husband, her three young boys, and her two occasionally belligerent dogs. When she isn’t writing or reading, you might find her searching for missing socks or napping under a tree.

“The world was hers for the reading.”

—Betty Smith, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn
